The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful– for he cannot deny himself. Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers.

Is your life all about Christ? There is no such thing as a part time Christian. A popular saying I heard around football season concerning the fans dedication and faith in their team was “All In”. I also heard this same term recently connected to a political ad campaign. To be “all in” means you are completely sold out for the cause at hand. That is the way the Christian life HAS to be. Following Jesus is an all or nothing deal. Either you are completely committed or you are just spinning your wheels. You can’t  proclaim the promises of God, and embrace the filth of the world at the same time. It just doesn’t work like that. So ask yourself truly, ” When it comes to Jesus, am I All In?
